Hello Everyone,
Please see the attached article from Jennifer Ayton.
Fathers and Feeding Study UTAS
The article is in regard to a study exploring the fathers and male care givers experiences regarding infant feeding. Please see the attached information.
We are calling for fathers/male caregivers to talk to us about infant feeding. We can talk to fathers and mothers as a couple or the fathers individually. We can also come to pre-existing support groups/ play groups as well, and or anything else where the parents are most comfortable in chatting to us. It is very informal.
The purpose of the study is to explore the role played by fathers/ male partners in supporting mothers to breastfeed and in infant feeding more broadly. We are interested in all aspects of feeding babies including breastfeeding, stopping breastfeeding, not wanting or being able to breastfeed, bottle feeding with formula or expressed breast milk, and weening."
